Welcome to FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION where your training needs are our priority.

What is FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION?
FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION is NOT designed as a normal Gym with a member base, but rather as a FULLY FUNCTIONAL PRIVATE TRAINING FACILITY that dedicates all of its resources to each client. This atmosphere allows for the application of
evidence based programs that are designed to meet each client’s specific needs and goals. Furthermore, this controlled environment is optimal for data collection and practical research in the field of Exercise Science.

What are Evidence Based Programs?
FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION does NOT consider itself a “GURU” of fitness, but rather utilizes scientific research of organizations, collected and put forth by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. NASM is the industry’s premier provider of continuing education and certification for fitness, sports-performance, and sports medicine professionals worldwide. FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION uses NASM’s
scientific principles as well as the 7 training phases associated with their Optimum Performance Training model

How does FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION meet your needs?
FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION offers different modules of training to meet different needs and goals:

Performance Enhancement
Fitness Enhancement
Weight Management
Injury Prevention

To learn more about these different modules go to our Services link or simply click on one.

Why is it called FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION?
A major component to all of FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION’S modules of training is recognizing dysfunctional movement patterns. The systematic process of identifying a neuromuscular dysfunction, developing a plan of action, and implementing the corrective strategy is known as Corrective Exercise Training. CET is phase 1 of FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION’S training system and applied to different degrees depending on each individuals needs.
